FAQ

What kind of support, training, and help can I expect with the franchise?

You will be treated like part of our family in every step of building your new business. We are family oriented, family owned and family focused in everything we do. This includes training at our corporate location in Atlanta, Georgia to fully grasp and understand the culture, systems, operating model and how we make the HippoHopp experience so special. Then we come to you to work with you and get your location up, running and Hopping! Along the way, we will be onsite and always be in contact, we will be working alongside you as you build your business and have questions, need support or just someone to lean on!

What is the initial investment to get my own HippoHopp started?

The total investment range is between $230,000 and $600,000 with a franchise fee of $25,000 paid to the Franchisor. This includes all of your expenses associated with getting the doors open and your business running, even the first 90 days of working capital. Investment ranges will vary depending on the market, but you can count on our support to help you start your business in the most efficient and effective way possible.

Should I have operated a children’s fitness or entertainment business in the past to do this?

No – With hands-on field training at our corporate locations and at your location in your territory, at your location before you open your doors for business. HippoHopp provides experienced management support in your territory during your business opening and will work with you on an on-going basis in your location….when you join HippoHopp, you join a family who cares about your success.

Will I have a protected territory?

Yes – All HippoHopp franchise territories are protected and typically are much larger than traditional franchise territories. Each territory is based on a minimum of 150,000 population of appropriate demographics and market characteristics.

Can I use an existing structure or will I need to build from the ground up?

The HippoHopp model requires a specific operational setting – it is a critical part of the atmosphere and character that makes HippoHopp so special! The operating model is dependent on a consistent structure, professional presentation to the families and clients and a location that is convenient and placed following the HippoHopp operating standards, but it can be a previously existing space.
